  3. TERMINUS (Sorel, Jules; Summary):

  5. "Terminus was sighted in 2012 by Jules  
  6. Sorel during the Third Transantarctic   
  7. Safari. He kept detailed notes and some 
  8. old-fashioned still holo records now so 
  9. fragmented that most resolution has been
  10. lost."

  12. "Mean temperature, according to Sorel,  
  13. is 15 degrees Celsius, (60 degrees      
  14. Fahrenheit); heat source unknown but    
  15. presumed to be geothermal. Terminus has 
  16. never been detected from satellite or   
  17. airship overflights, and its precise    
  18. location is unknown. Reasons unclear,   
  19. but speculate that Terminus is shaded by
  20. ice overhang or significant rock        
  21. outcroppings. Sorel claims he planted   
  22. some modified beech and conifers, ferns,
  23. even grasses. This claim cannot be      
  24. substantiated."

  27. within this region, since the route of  
  28. the Third Transantarctic Safari was     
  29. inaccurately documented, since it was   
  30. done on foot and without modern tracking
  31. satellites. Antarctic government has    
  32. mounted seven expeditions in the past   
  33. sixty-five years to look for Terminus.  
  34. All were unsuccessful. Much of the      
  35. continent remains unexplored. Here are  
  36. the records of the seven expeditions."
